Hello Shane,
Thank you for your interest with Wizard Labs! Our nicotine solution is mixed here in Orlando FL. Unfortunately there are no US sources for nicotine extract at this time, but
that could be changing soon. We currently have contracts with extraction labs in both India and China.
Our nicotine is an organic extraction and not synthetic, meaning it's sourced from natural tobacco leaves. Synthetic nicotine is lab-created from a variety of other chemicals. Nicotine (C10H14N2) is a chiral molecule, meaning that the atoms can be arranged into either of two mirror images which have a specific, and opposite optical rotation from each other. The natural form is a "left-handed" isomer (levorotatory), and the synthetic form is a "right-handed" isomer (dextrorotatory). While the synthetic form has the benefit of being less toxic than natural nicotine, it doesn't have the exact same psychoactive effects on a milligram to milligram basis.Although synthetic nicotine can be traced back to the 1920's or longer, it's effects on the human brain/body are not anywhere near as well known and documented as natural nicotine.
I hope that helps.
Thank you,
Connor R
